Yo yo,

It’s release day over here at Back Rhodes central. We hope you’ve had a chance to give Hiding from the Sun a listen. Click the image if you haven't!

A lot of work went into this one and we’re super proud of the final product. Fun fact: There’s no organ in this song. It’s actually AJ’s violin with an effect emulating an old rotary speaker… Science. Just wanted to give a shoutout to all those who made this single release possible.

Big ‘ol props to Chris Piquette over at No Boundaries Studios for engineering, producing, mixing and mastering Hiding. He sure knows how to make us sound good.

Mr. Sweet T Hill captured the album cover image. He has a pretty sweet story about where the image was taken on his Hill’s Home Improvement page.

Graphic artist Alex Colburn took the image and really took it to the next level, throwing some sweet finishing touches on the album cover. Alex is also a great musician who offers lessons on a variety of instruments.

What’s new with us?

We’re back at No Boundaries in May to work on 3 more songs for our upcoming full-length release. Keep an eye on our social media for some updates from the studio. We had a great time documenting the process last time. We’ll be dropping another single in a few weeks. Keep an ear out.

May means Country Fest at Tamarack Lodge. We're sharing a stage with Nick Casey and Nick Bosse & The Northern Roots for 6 hours of country this Memorial Day weekend. Early bird tickets just went on sale . Don't sleep on this fest y'all. We’ve also updated our current shows and have some more announcements coming soon. Be sure to check out our tour page to see all of our current shows.

Stay safe and we’ll see you at a show soon.

Until next time.
